Iran Taekwondo Captain Hosseini to Be Absent in Asian Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran captain Mir Hashem Hosseini will be absent in the 2024 Asian Taekwondo Championship in Vietnam.
The Championship is scheduled to run from May 21 to May 31 at the Tien Son Sport Center in the central city of Da Nang.
Hosseini will not be fit for the event and the federation will send Ali Khoshravesh in the -80kg weight class instead of Hosseini.
The Asian Taekwondo Championships 2024 is considered a warmup tournament for the Iranian athletes at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
