Iran Sends Six Boxers to Kazakhstan’s Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Boxing Federation sent six boxers to the Astana tournament.
Danial Shahbakhsh, Ali Habibinezhad, Kasra Tahmasebi, Meysam Gheshlaghi, Ali Fathi and Rouzbeh Safari will participate in the tournament.
The Iranian team will compete at the event as part of preparation for the Boxing Road to Paris 2nd World Qualification Tournament in Thailand.
The Tournament will take place from May 24 to June 2 at Indoor Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, where a total of 51 remaining Paris 2024 Olympic quota places (23 for women and 28 for men) will be up for grabs across 13 Olympic boxing weight categories (6 for women and 7 for men).
