Iran to Hold Gas Talks with French Investors: Official

TERHAN (Tasnim) – Managing-Director of National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Hamid-Reza Araqi announced on Tuesday that Tehran will hold talks with dozens of French investors, experts, and companies during an oncoming conference in Paris.

Araqi said that there will be negotiations on Wednesday between Iranian officials and a number of French investors, experts, industrial managers, and a group representing 100 French companies.

The talks will take place on the sidelines of the 26th World Gas Conference, which started on Monday and will go on until May 5 in the French capital.

Araqi referred to the enthusiasm of foreign energy companies to hold talks with Iran, saying that the Iranian delegation will have meetings with these companies in the coming days.

The World Gas Conference is the largest gathering of activists in the world gas industry. It has brought together 4,000 people from more than 100 countries.
