We Played Very Good Volleyball: Poland Captain Kubiak
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Polish national volleyball team's captain Michal Kubiak praised his team after defeating Iran 3-1 in the FIVB World League.
Poland defeated Iran in the second of its two FIVB Volleyball World League Pool B encounters in Tehran’s Azadi Hall 3-1 (23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19).
“I would like to congratulate the Iranian team because they made us play our best volleyball," Kubiak said in the post-match press conference.
"I think it was our best game in this World League."
“We played in such a beautiful arena, with an amazing crowd. We showed we are able to win even with a crowd like this," he said, adding, "I would also like to say our team played very good volleyball."
