The Iranian parliamentary group, led by Moayyed Hoseini Sadr, will have meetings with senior Turkish political and parliamentary officials, including speaker of Turkey's National Assembly.

They will also meet with the head of the Turkish Parliament's Foreign Relations Commission, and that country's economy minister, to discuss issues of mutual interest, especially the expansion of friendly bilateral and parliamentary ties.

During the four-day visit the six-member Iranian delegation will also visit the University of Istanbul and a number of Turkish economic centers.

In September, the Turkish Parliament Speaker Cicek visited Tehran at the head of a high ranking parliamentary delegation upon an invitation extended to him by his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani.

During his two-day visit, the Turkish parliament speaker discussed avenues for bolstering Tehran-Ankara relations and the ongoing regional developments with senior Iranian officials, including President Hassan Rouhani.
