Matin to Face Al-Rayyan in Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran’s Matin Varamin club advanced to the final match of the 2014 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship by beating Beijing BAIC Motors.
On Tuesday, Matin defeated the Chinese team in straight sets (27–25,25–23,25–20) in Pasay City, the Philippines.
In the other semi-finals, Al-Rayyan of Qatar defeated Kondensat-Zhaikmunay of Kazakhstan 3-0.
Matin will play Al-Rayyan on Wednesday in the final match.
The champion of the tournament will qualify for 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
