Iranian Men's Compound Archery Team Wins Bronze
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s compound archery team claimed a bronze medal at the Asian Games on Saturday.
The Iranian team, comprising Esmaeil Ebadi, Majid Gheidi and Amir Kazempour, claimed the bronze with a 227-224 win over the Philippines.
India claimed the gold medal after defeating South Korea 227-224.
Some 9,500 athletes from 45 countries are competing at the Games, the world's second-biggest multi-sport event after the summer Olympics, with 439 gold medals in 36 sports up for grabs.
Iran has participated in the games with 276 athletes in 22 sports.
