Iran’s Dousti Claims Bronze in Asiad

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Karateka Nasrin Dousti won Iran’s last medal in the 2014 Asian Games on Saturday.

Dousti beat Elnura Kamchybekova 6-1 in women's -50kg at the Gyeyang Gymnasium in Incheon, South Korea.

Iran wrapped up the 2014 Asian Games with 57 medals, including 21 gold, 18 silver and 18 bronze medals.

Some 9,500 athletes from 45 countries are competing at the Games, the world's second-biggest multi-sport event after the summer Olympics, with 439 gold medals in 36 sports up for grabs.

Iran participated in the games with 276 athletes in 22 sports.
