Yemen’s Ansarullah: All Options Open to Respond to Saudi-Led Aggression

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A spokesman for Yemen's Shiite Ansarullah movement warned against the consequences of the Saudi-led war on the Arabian Peninsula country, saying that "all options are open" to deal with the aggressors.

“Saudi Arabia with its military intervention and aggression on Yemeni soil has plunged itself into a vortex. All options are open for Yemenis,” Mohammad Abdul-Salam told the Lebanese-based Al Mayadeen TV channel.

“As long as Saudi Arabia continues its aggressions against Yemen, it has no authority to call upon us to engage in dialogue (with it),” he said.

He went on to say that any request for dialogue from those states that joined the Saudi-led coalition will not be accepted by the Houthi movement.

On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies began to militarily interfere in Yemen's internal affairs by launching deadly air strikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

The Saudi-led coalition, including military forces from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Egypt, Sudan, Bahrain, Morocco, Jordan, and Egypt, has killed hundreds of civilians so far.

The Saudi-led airstrikes have killed more than one thousand Yemenis, including hundreds of children and women, and injured many others so far.
