Five people lost their lives and at least 10 others were wounded when a bomb planted in a car parked across the street from Yarmuk hospital in the west of Baghdad was detonated, the Iraqi al-Forat news agency reported.
The second blast took place in a residential area in Mahmudiyah, south of the Iraqi capital, killing at least four and injuring at least 13.
The booby-trap bomb explosion, in which two people were killed and 5 others injured, occurred in a market in northern Baghdad.
There has been no claim of responsibility for the bombings, but such attacks are usually blamed on Takfiri ISIL terrorists.
The UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has said nearly 1,000 people were killed by violence in March, while over 2,170 others were injured.
According to the UN mission, the number of civilian fatalities stood at 729. Violence also claimed the lives of nearly 270 members of the Iraqi security forces last month.
A great portion of the fatalities was recorded in Baghdad, where more than 360 civilians were killed, Press TV reported.
The northern parts of Iraq have been in chaos since the ISIL started its campaign of terror in early June 2014. The terrorists are in control of the second-largest city of Mosul and have swept through parts of the country’s Sunni Arab heartland.
