Iran, Kenya Friendly Match Cancelled
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A friendly match between Iran and Kenya national football teams has been cancelled.
Iranian Football Association had officially invited the African team for a friendly match in June but Kenya was going to send its U-23 team.
Iranian FA had officially sent a formal request to Football Kenya Federation requesting for the match to be played any date from June 8-11 in Tehran.
Iran has agreed to pay for accommodation and flight costs of Kenyan football team during the match.
Team Melli is preparing for the 2018 World Cup qualification.
