Discus Thrower Samimi Wins Bronze in Asian Athletic Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian discus thrower Mahmoud Samimi claimed a bronze medal in the 21st Asian Athletic Championships on Saturday.
Vikas Gowda from India won the gold meda with a throw of 62.03 meters.
Kuwaiti thrower finished in second place with 61.08 meters and Samimi claimed the bronze medal with 59.78 meters.
The 21st Asian Athletics Championships has brought more than 800 athletes from 45 Asian countries together in Wuhan, China.
