Iran defeated Russia twice in Pool B of the 2015 FIVB World League.
Two teams are also preparing for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Cup which will be held in Japan from September 8 to 23.
The Russian Volleyball Federation has sent a message of congratulation to its Iranian counterpart due to the victories in the FIVB World League.
The Russian federation has also invited Iran to the country to hold joint training camp practices and some warm-up matches.
