Iran, Bulgaria Ink 3 MoUs

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Bulgaria signed three memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in Tehran on Monday as part of efforts to boost economic cooperation.

The agreements were signed at a meeting attended by Iranian First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri and Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov.

According to one of the documents, Tehran and Sofia will develop cooperation in telecommunication and information technology.

Another MoU entails establishment of a joint working group between Iran’s Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance and the Invest Bulgaria Agency.

The third document was an MoU between Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization and Bulgaria’s Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency.

Borissov arrived in Iran on Monday morning and received a formal welcome at Tehran’s Sa’ad-Abad Palace.
