Foreign Investors Lured by Iran’s Security: Minister

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s intelligence minister described the country’s success to ensure sustainable security as a main reason behind increasing enthusiasm for investment by foreigners.

“Security in the country has made foreign investors keen to invest in Iran,” Mahmoud Alawi said on Sunday evening, noting that ensuring security also contributes to the implementation of Resistance Economy plan.

He further said that full intelligence dominance by the local forces has endowed Iran with “unique security” status in the region, despite constants attempts by the enemies to incite religious division.

Iran is considered by many experts as the “island of stability” in a region which faces many security challenges.

In August, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei highlighted the strong security in Iran despite crises and insecurity in the region.

“Thank God and through the appreciated efforts and endeavors of the military and security forces, the country enjoys a strong security shield while regional countries are filled with incidents and insecurity,” the Leader said.
