Iran’s Shahrdari Kashan Comes 7th at Limbourg Handball Days

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Shahrdari Kashan of Iran finished in seventh place at the Limbourg Handball Days tournament.

The competition was held in the Netherlands from December 27 to 29.

The Iranian team lost to Dutch club OCI-Lions 23-31 in its first match and was held to 26-26 by Pölva Serviti from Estonia.

Shahrdari Kashan lost to Artistica de Avanca from Portugal 19-18 in its last group match.

The Iranian representative defeated Tenax Dobele from Latvia 27-25 and came seventh in the tournament.

Limbourg Handball Days is one of the most well-organized handball tournaments in Europe.

The tournament lasts for three days with teams from Europe, Africa and Asia and has been successfully organized since 1988 in the cities of Sittard, Geleen and Beek.
