IRGC Commander: Iran’s Security Exemplary

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Head of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Public Relations Department General Ramezan Sharif highlighted Iran’s security and stability, saying that the country’s “sustainable security” is a role model for other regional states.

Iran enjoys unparalleled security in the Middle East due to the vigilance of the country’s security forces as well as strong bond between the people and leadership, General Sharif said on Thursday.

He added that the Islamic Republic’s sustainable security serves as a role model for other countries in the region.

Noting that Takfiri terrorist groups, including Daesh (ISIL or ISIS), have not been able to conduct any acts of sabotage in Iran since their emergence in the region, the Iranian commander said the US-spawned terror group has disrupted Europe’s security by carrying out several terrorist attacks at the heart of the continent, but has failed to do so in Iran.

Earlier, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani lauded the country’s sustained might in the regional and international scenes, saying Iran’s security and stability is unparalleled in the current circumstances.

Nobody would be able to find a country today that can match the Islamic Republic of Iran in terms of security, stability and independence, Shamkhani said.
