Preparatory Meetings Held for Iran-China Joint Security Working Group
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iran and China on Sunday held preparatory meetings for the formation of the two countries’ joint security working group.
The meetings were held in the Iranian capital with a delegation from Chinese Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in attendance.
At the meetings, also attended by the Iranian interior ministry’s director general for security and border affairs, necessary planning was made for the 3rd Joint Security Working Group.
During the Chinese delegation’s visit to Tehran, bilateral meetings and mutual cooperation in different security, law enforcement and counter-narcotics fields will be discussed.
