Iran’s IRGC Ground Force Ready to Serve Oppressed People in World

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour highlighted his forces’ defense capability and said they can be of service to all the oppressed people and Muslims around the world.

Addressing a ceremony held in Tehran on Sunday with Foreign military attachés in Iran in attendance, Brigadier General Pakpour described the IRGC Ground Force as a force at the front line of defending the Islamic Republic.

The commander stressed that his forces have the deterrent power to prevent any war and the capability to respond to any threat posed against the country.

“We believe that the defense power can be put at the service of all of the oppressed people and Muslims around the world,” he further said.

Elsewhere, he said the IRGC Ground Force is ready for developing and boosting its defense and military cooperation with friendly and peace-loving countries in the world.

The commander went on to say that Iran’s message to all countries, especially neighbors, is one of peace, adding that Iran has not made an act of aggression against any country in the past two hundred years and has no intention of doing so in the future, either.
