Iran’s Giti Pasand Advances to AFC Futsal Club Championship Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Giti Pasand booked a place in the last four of the AFC Futsal Club Championship Vietnam 2017.
The Iranian futsal team defeated spirited Bank of Beirut 2-0 on Thursday.
Ahmad Esmaeilpour and Abolghasem Orouji scored two goals for the Iranian team at the Phu Tho Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
“Bank of Beirut played a physical game, which made it hard for us but I must praise my players for doing their part. Now we look to the final and the title,” Giti Pasand coach Alireza Afzal said in the post-match news conference.
“To be honest, it makes no difference for me, whether we win by one goal or 10 goals, a win is a win,” he added.
