Pars Jonoubi kicked off the competition with a 7-6 loss to Spanish Levante but defeated Argentina’s CA Rosario Central 8-4.
The Iranian team then defeated Flamengo 6-4 and advanced to the final.
In the competition held in Vargem-Grande Paulista in Sao Paulo in Brazil, Corinthians bagged up the bronze following a narrow 3-2 win in the People’s Classico against Flamengo.
The prestigious tournament brought eight teams together.
