Iran’s Pouya Norouzinejad Joins Gummersbach Handball Team

“I’ve reached an agreement with Gummersbach and will join the team within the next few days,” he said.

According to Iranian media, Norouzinejad cannot accompany Iran national handball team in the 2018 Asian Games because his German club didn’t allow him to leave the team but Norouzinejad insists he will participate in Team Melli’s training camp.

VfL Gummersbach is a handball club from the German city of Gummersbach.

Currently, VfL Gummersbach competes in the German First League of Handball and the DHB-Pokal.

Gummersbach is one of the most successful team-handball club ever.
