IRGC Base Implementing 100 Construction Projects in NW Iran: Commander

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The commander of Khatam al-Anbia Construction Base, a conglomerate belonging to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), said the base has been implementing 100 construction projects in the country’s northwestern areas.

Speaking at a meeting with the governor the northwestern province of East Azerbaijan on Sunday, General Ebadollah Abdollahi said the Khatam al-Anbia Construction Base is duty-bound to help in developing the country and serve the people.

He further said 100 construction projects have been implemented in the northwestern parts of the country, most of which have come into operation.

The commander went on to say that in East Azerbaijan Province, 20 mega projects are being implemented by the IRGC base.

Back in May, General Abdollahi pledged that his forces will complete 40 mega-projects in the current Iranian year, which began on March 21.

Ten major projects will be completed for the Oil Ministry with around $22 billion in investment, the general said at the time.

IRGC officials have offered help to the Iranian administration in non-military technologies in order to cut dependence on foreign countries.
