Iran’s Mohammadi Wins Bronze at World Judo Championships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mohammad Mohammadi from Iran claimed a bronze medal at the 2018 World Judo Championships on Saturday.

He defeated 2017 world bronze medalist Mongolian Odbayar Ganbaatar in the -73kg category and snatched the bronze.  

The gold medal went to AN Changrim from South Korea who beat his Japanese rival Soichi Hashimoto in the final match.  

About 800 judokas from 125 nations are competing at the 2018 World Judo Championships which will close on September 27 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
