Iran Attends Eurasian Parliamentary Meeting

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani travelled to Turkey on Monday to take part in the third annual meeting of parliament speakers of the Eurasian countries.

Accompanied by a delegation of Iranian lawmakers, Larijani left Tehran for the resort city of Antalya, southwest of Turkey, for the Eurasian conference.

During his trip, the Iranian parliament speaker will hold meetings with Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Binali Yildirim and a number of other foreign counterparts.

The conference is attended by 20 parliament speakers and parliamentary delegations from 17 Asian and European nations.

The first and second editions of the conference were held in Russia and South Korea, respectively.
