Syrian Army Captures Huge Stockpile of US, Israeli-Made Weapons in Daraa (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Syrian army this weekend seized a huge stockpile of Israeli and US-made weapons in eastern Daraa province.

According to a report by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the army captured the weapons that were left behind by the terrorists in the eastern countryside of the Daraa province.

The report said that the cache containing Israeli and US-made weapons was found on Saturday in the farmlands between the towns of Um al-Mayazen and Saida in the eastern countryside of the Daraa province.

“The seized weapons included anti-personnel landmines, Israeli-made tanks, various sizes of explosive belts, 23 mm and 14.5 mm machinegun ammo, various types of RPG rounds and mortar shells, in addition to large quantities of gunpowder used in the manufacture of explosives,” the SANA report added.
