Iranian Center Haddadi Parts Company with Champville Basketball Club
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran international center Hamed Haddadi has parted ways with Lebanese basketball club Champville.
The 218-cm former NBA center joined Champville in February but left the team on Wednesday.
Haddadi had joined Champville from Chinese club Xinjiang Flying Tigers.
He was Iran’s big absent in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian qualifiers against Japan and Australia in February.
Haddadi started his playing career in Iranian club Shahin Ahvaz in 1999 and joined Memphis Grizzlies in 2008 and played in the NBA team for five years.
