Iran Knows Opponents at FIVB U-19 World Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran has known its rivals at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Boys' U-19 World Championship.
The competition will be hosted by Tunisia in Tunis from 21 to 30 August 2019.
The Iranian outfit has been drawn in Pool B along with Czech Republic, Italy, Colombia and Bulgaria.

Pool A: Tunisia, Brazil, Cuba, Taiwan, Belarus
Pool B: Iran, Czech Republic, Italy, Colombia, Bulgaria
Pool C: Japan, Egypt, Argentina, Germany, Mexico
Pool D: Russia, S. Korea, USA, Nigeria, Dominican Republic
The FIVB Volleyball Boys' U-19 World Championship, called the FIVB Volleyball Boys' Youth World Championship between 2007 and 2011, is the world championship of volleyball for male players under the age of 19 organized by Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).
The first edition was staged in 1989 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and tournaments have been played every two years since then. The most recent tournament was hosted by Bahrain in the city of Riffa and won by Iran.
Brazil is the most successful nation in the tournament's history, with six titles and one runner-up. Russia is the second most successful with three titles and three runners-up.
