Over 60 People Killed in Sudan’s Devastating Floods (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – At least 62 people have been killed and 100 injured after two months of heavy rain caused severe flooding across Sudan, authorities said.

Torrential rain and floods hitting Sudan in the last three weeks have killed more than 60 people, with hundreds of thousands forced to leave their houses.

The Nile river has burst its banks in Wadi Ramli in Sudan's Khartoum state, destroying adjacent farmland.
