Iran Suffers Defeat against Egypt at FINA World Junior Water Polo C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Egypt 11-7 at the classification round of the 20th FINA World Men's Junior Water Polo Championships on Tuesday.
Iran started the campaign with a win over Kuwait at the Al-Nasar Sport Club in Kuwait City in the opening match but has since lost to USA, Italy, Montenegro and Egypt.
Iran will play Brazil on Wednesday.
In the last edition of the championships, held in 2017 in Belgrade (SRB), the medalists were Greece (gold), Croatia (silver) and Serbia (bronze).
