Ansarifard Quits as Persepolis General Manager

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mohammad Hassan Ansarifard announced his resignation as general manager of Persepolis football club on Tuesday.

Ansarifard was named as general manager of the Iranian club in August but stepped down from his role after he had trouble working with the club’s board of directors.

The head of board of directors Mehdi Rasoul Panah has said the club will announce the name of new general manager until Wednesday.

Persepolis leads the Iran professional league (IPL) and is a favorite to win the title for the fourth time in a row.
