Taremi Applauds Health Care Workers in Fight against COVID-19
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian international striker Mehdi Taremi has thanked health care workers for their efforts to protect the population from COVID-19.
“To all the health care workers and other professionals across the world for their ongoing efforts in fighting COVID-19. An infinite applause,” Taremi posted on his Twitter account.
The global death toll from the pandemic passed 657,000 Tuesday.
Taremi, on Saturday, was chosen among the Primeira Liga’s top three goalscorers, netting 18 goals.
