Payam Heydari Named Tehran Derby Referee
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Payam Heydari has been named as referee of Tehran derby between Esteghlal and Persepolis.
Tehran derby will take place on Wednesday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
Esteghlal and Persepolis will face in Iran’s Hazfi Cup semifinal.
Heydari, 33, is an international referee from 2015.
Referees Committee of Iran Football Federation had previously chosen Reza Kermanshahi and Mohammadhossein Zahedifar as the match’s derby but changed its mind.
Koopal Nazemi will also officiate another semifinal match between Tractor and Naft Masjed Soleyman a day earlier.
