Tractor Advances to Iran’s Hazfi Cup Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Tractor football team qualified for the Iran’s Hazfi Cup final on Tuesday.
Tractor defeated Naft Majed Soleyman 1-0 at the Yadegar-e Emam Stadium in Tabriz.
Saeid Mehri scored the solitary goal of the match in the 47th minute.
Tractor defender Reza Asadi was sent off in the 75th minute after receiving his second yellow card.
Tractor will meet the winner of Persepolis and Esteghlal match in the final match, slated for September 3.
Esteghlal is the most decorated team in Hazfi Cup competition, having won the title seven times.
