Georgian Wrestlers Join Iranian Teams
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Four Georgian wrestlers have joined Iranian teams and will wrestle in the Premier Wrestling League.
Georgian freestyle wrestlers Beka Lomtadze and Irakli Mtsituri joined wrestling team Farsh-e Iran.
Lomtadze won gold medal in 2019 world championships in Nur-Sultan and silver medal at the 2016 world championships in Budapest in the 61kg category.
Mtsituri also claimed a bronze medal at the 2019 world championships in Nur-Sultan in the 92kg.
Greco-Roman wrestlers Leri Abuladze (63 kg) and Gela Bolkvadze have also signed for Saba Noor Kordestan wrestling team.
