Afghan Top Security Official to Visit Iran Tuesday

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – National Security Adviser to Afghanistan’s president Hamdullah Mohib will visit Tehran on Tuesday for talks on the bilateral and regional issues.

Mohib is scheduled to arrive in Tehran on December 22 for a one-day visit at the invitation of Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani.

The senior Afghan adviser and Shamkhani are expected to hold talks on bilateral issues, the Afghan peace initiative, and regional developments.

Hamdullah Mohib will also hold meetings with a number of other Iranian security and political officials.
