Iraq to Play UAE in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iraq national football team will play the UAE as part of preparation for the second round of the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
The match will be held on January 12 in Dubai.
It will be part of a preparatory camp for Bert van Marwijk’s squad as they start their preparations for the resumption of the qualification.
Iraq sits top of Group C of the Asian qualification, a group that consists of rivals Iran, Bahrain, Hong Kong, and Cambodia.
