Machine Sazi A Step Closer to Relegation: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Machine Sazi football team moved one step closer to relegation from the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Sunday.
The Tabriz-based football team was held to a 1-1 draw by Aluminum Arak in its home match.
Saeid Hosseinpour was on target for Machine Sazi in the 71st minute and Hamed Pakdel levelled the score in the 84th minute.
Mes Rafsanjan defeated Saipa 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Mohammad Reza Soleymani in the 45th minute.
Sepahan will meet Naft Masjed Soleyman on Monday and will move to top of the table if it beats the team.
Persepolis sits top with 41 points and Machine Sazi is at the bottom of the table with 10 points after 20 weeks.
