Iranian Canoeist Rezaei Fails to Advance to Olympics

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Mohammad Nabi Rezaei failed to secure his place at the 2020 Olympic Games.

On Friday, he finished in fourth place in the men’s C1 1000 meters of the 2021 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup Barnaul and OQ.

Rezaei came fourth with a time of 04:18.380.

Macedonian athlete Serghei Tarnovschi won the gold medal with a time of 04:14.861 and qualified for the Olympics as the winner.

The competition has brought athletes from 40 countries together in Barnaul, Russia.
