Kings of Asia to Compete in Olympics for Second Time
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Volleyball World Instagram account praised the Iranian volleyball team competing in the 2020 Olympic Games.
“In their second Olympic appearance, the reigning volleyball kings of Asia will compete in Tokyo with experience and youth plus a new head coach who led Russia to Olympic gold in 2012 -Vladimir Alekno,” Volleyballworld shared the post.
“The five players with Olympic experience are Saeid Marouf, Milad Ebadipour, Mohammad Mousavi, Amir Ghafour and Mehdi Marandi.”
Iran has been drawn in Pool A along with Japan, Italy, Poland, Canada and Venezuela at the 2020 Olympic Games.
