Army Voices Support for New Iranian Admin
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Army congratulated the country’s incoming president and his cabinet members on the occasion of the Administration Week, expressing full support for the new administration in its efforts to ensure security, development and welfare.
In a statement released on Friday, the Army paid tribute to the government officials who have been martyred in the path to justice, loyalty to the causes of the Islamic Revolution, and countering cruelty, injustice and underdevelopment.
The statement also congratulated Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his cabinet members, who have recently won the Parliament’s vote of confidence, on the Administration Week.
The Army further reaffirmed complete obedience to the orders of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, and pledged that it will continue to support and help the administration in ensuring Iran’s development, security and calm and providing public welfare.
The Iranian Parliament ended debates on nominees for the country’s new cabinet on Wednesday and approved all but one of President Raisi’s 19 cabinet picks.
