Foreigners Willing to Promote Ties with Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The incoming foreign minister of Iran received more congratulatory messages from his counterparts in different parts of the world who have voiced eagerness to expand political and economic relations with the new Iranian administration.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Thursday received congratulatory messages on taking office from his counterparts from the Netherlands, Croatia, South Korea, Senegal, and Madagaskar.

Foreign Minister of Croatia Gordan Grlic Radman expressed confidence that constant negotiations and cooperation between Zagreb and Tehran will contribute to the welfare of the two nations.

In another message, South Korean Foreign Minister Chung Eui-yong expressed hope for stronger collaboration between the two countries which have maintained diplomatic relations since 1962.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, who took office last month, has emphasized that the main priority in his administration’s foreign policy agenda is maintaining close and friendly relations with the regional and neighboring countries.
