Iranian Boxers Win Two Bronzes at 2022 Asian Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Shahin Mousavi and Toofan Sharifi claimed two bronze medals at the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships.
Mousavi lost to his Kazakhstan opponent in the 75kg weight class and won the bronze medal.
Sharifi was also defeated against his Kazakhstan rival in the 92kg class.
The competition is being held from October 30 to November 13 in Amman, Jordan.
Iran has sent 12 boxers to the competition.
