Iran to Compete at IBSA Goalball World Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Six para-athletes representing Iran will travel to Portugal on Sunday for the IBSA Goalball World Championships 2022.
Brazil is the reigning men's champion and Russia the current women's world champion, following victories at the last Goalball World Championships in Malmo, Sweden in 2018.
Iran has been drawn in Group D along with China, Lithuania, Ukraine, the US, Egypt, Mexico and Colombia.
The competition will be held in Matosinhos, Portugal from December 7 to 16.
