Iran vs Russia Ends in Stalemate
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Russia football teams shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in a friendly match here at the Azadi Stadium on Thursday.
Anton Miranchuk gave the visiting team a lead in the 29th minute and Mehdi Taremi leveled the score in the 47th minute.
Iran was the better team in the second half but failed to score one more time.
Team Melli will also play Kenya at the Azadi Stadium on March 28.
