Iran Volleyball Learns Fate at FISU Games

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran volleyball team discovered its fate at the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games.

Iran is drawn along with Australia, Czech Republic, India and Argentina in Pool B.

Portugal, South Korea, Hong Kong and Poland are in Pool A.

Pool C includes Japan, Azerbaijan Republic, Ukraine, Mexico and China.

Germany, Italy, Chinese Taipei and Brazil are in Pool D.

The World University Games were scheduled to be held in Chengdu, China, in summer 2021, but have been postponed three times due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will now be held in 2023.

Headquartered in Switzerland, FISU is the International University Sports Federation responsible for the organization and governance of worldwide sports competitions for student-athletes between the ages of 17 and 25.
