Russia’s Ruble Could Replace US Dollar in Global Transactions: World Bank

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Russia’s economy has always been independent from the credit sources of the World Bank, the executive director of the Bank for Russia and Syria Affairs said, adding that Russia’s Ruble could replace US dollar in international arenas.

Roman Marshavin in an interview with Sputnik news agency on Sunday stated that Russia has not relied on World Bank loans for a long time.

Russia’s economy has always been independent from the credit sources of the World Bank, he reiterated and added that Russia acts as a presenter of science and knowledge in this regard.

It is a fact that the World Bank will return to full interaction with Russia in time, he added.

In case of accurate implementation of the financial policies, Russia’s Ruble could replace US dollar, the executive director of the World Bank emphasized.
