Iran’s Non-Oil Exports to Iraq Up by 24% in Three Months: TPOI

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The director general of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPOI) for West Asia announced a 24-percent growth in the export of Iranian non-oil products to neighboring Iraq in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year compared to the same period of last year.

Iran exported $2.348 billion worth of non-oil products to Iraq from March 21 to June 22, registering a 24 percent growth compared to last year’s corresponding period, Farzad Piltan noted.

Iran had exported about $1.887 billion worth of products to Iraq from March 21 to June 22, 2022, he added.

According to him, Iran exported natural gas, rebar, tomato, iron ingot, poultry feed, polyethylene, clinker, infant formula and plastic materials to Iraq in the first quarter of the current Persian calendar year.
