Iran’s Solhipour Takes Bronze at Dubai 2023
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Hamed Solhipour claimed a bronze medal at the 2023 Para Powerlifting World Championships on Sunday.
Solhipour came third with 226kg in the Men's Up to 97kg.
Chinese powerlifter Panpan Yan won the gold with 233kg and Uzbekistan’s Farhod Umirzakov claimed the silver by lifting 232kg.
The competition has brought around 500 elite powerlifters (including 56 juniors) from 80 countries together at the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City.
