Kurash Player Aghaei Wins Silver in 2022 Asian Games
TEHRAN (Tasnim)– Donya Aghaei of Iran claimed a silver medal in kurash in the 2022 Asian Games on Sunday.
She lost to her Chinese rival Dan Yu 10-0 in the final of the women’s -70kg.
Aghaei had defeated players from Uzbekistan and Chinese Taipei.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
